@paulson Have you read the Wirecutter recommendations? We continue to enjoy the first board game recommendation for our 2 and 4 year old but there are others too.
The first board game I tried playing with him was Legendary: Marvel. It is a co-op game, so even if it was more complicated, we made it work. But he wasn’t too excited to play it again.
I’m thinking of trying to play Forbidden Island with him soon. It is a more complex game, but since it is also co-op, it might be doable.
@paulson the only pace we found Protect the Pridelands was on Amazon. And we had to wait like 1 month before it shipped. Hope you can find a copy for your kid.

Ooo! I bet he would love Protect the Pridelands. It looks like it’s out a print but there’s a few copies to be found on eBay.
