We had our first complete week of dry warm weather in Indiana. A little early this year! We did a pretty good job keeping up with walking our oldest to / from school during the winter but it’s been so great to start / end every day with a walk this week.

Not sure if I’ll be able to keep up with posting a photo a day in May, but here’s an impromptu one from a cloudy walk I took my oldest and youngest on yesterday at the zoo.

Cabinets with machines in laundry room

We made the switch to a ventless dryer when we redid our laundry room last year. I now get what the Europeans see in them. It works great and saved the hassle / expense of drilling a vent out of our old brick siding.

My wife did an amazing job with the wallpaper here too!

I’ve explained over Zoom to my students the difference between CSS Grid and Flexbox so many times over the last year that at this point my wife has my spiel memorized.

Millennial parenting achievement, I have successfully convinced my kids that Transatlanticism is “New Year’s Music”.

My mom and brother got their 1st doses of the vaccine today. I have mine scheduled for 11 days from now. The weather this weekend is shaping up to be fantastic. The world is starting to look a little brighter. Grateful.

I’ve always been of the opinion that if the weather is going to be below freezing, there should be lots of snow on the ground. 🐕
